Nine (9) new cases of the novel pandemic coronavirus have been freshly reported by the Noguchi Memorial Institute Of Medical Research and have been backed by Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Information on their twitter accounts.
All the nine new positive cases were reported in Accra with three of them been having travelled back into the country from Germany, France and Hungary. The rest have no travel history to their names.
The Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research also reported on tests of 77 person samples which they say were all negative including 41 samples from asymptomatic contacts of a case from the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
The new cases bring the total number of positively confirmed coronavirus to 161 with 5 deaths, 3 recovered and 18 discharged as at 31 March 2020.
The 31 patients were reported to have recovered today and discharged adding up to the already 18 persons being managed at home. In total 49 persons are being managed at home with 31 recoveries.

Tamale has 10 people under mandatory quarantine.
There also has 79 confirmed cases with 31 discharged persons and 48 persons responding well to treatment from the general population whiles the routine surveillance of persons travelling back from overseas has a total of 72 positive confirmed cases.
